Christine Palisoc—Piano, Voice
A musician from birth, Christine Palisoc believes music is the most important part of her life. After graduating from Baylor School, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a minor in Asian Studies. While at UTC, she was President of UTC’s Chattanooga Singers, Vice President of UTC’s Chamber Singers, and President of UTC’s Theta Mu Chapter of Sigma Alpha Iota. She currently works at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul as a Choral Assistant, teaching their Youth Schola and assisting in directing their ria dei Schola. Palisoc loves teaching, and she takes great pleasure in helping her students improve their technique and nurturing their love of music. She takes a creative and positive approach to teaching, and always takes the individual needs and goals of the student into consideration.
Palisoc says students can expect to learn but also have a lot of fun. She encourages students to practice section by section and to persevere. She’s a former piano student of Cadek piano instructor Andrea Tierney.
