Emily Anderson ’16

Teaches: Visual Art
Location: GPS
Emily Anderson ’16 fell in love with art because of GPS, and the amazing teachers who nurtured her passion. Heading into college, she knew she wanted influence and inspire the next generation of artists.

In 2020, Anderson received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Tennessee Knoxville, as well as a minor in Art Education. Emerging from lockdown, she began offering art classes to help students release creative energy in a safe space. During the summers, you can also find Anderson teaching Art Camp at GPS!

Students can expect to experiment with different mediums, tools, and techniques. Each student will be able to express themselves by creating individual artworks, rather than class-wide projects.
